LifeCell Skin Cream

Is LifeCell trying to rip you off like all the other skin creams on the market today? That’s the question most people have when they hear about it for the first time. After all, if something sounds too good to be true it probably is. Right? That’s what we thought until we found LifeCell.

What’s The Big Deal About LifeCell ?

It’s not about a bunch of hype or clinical research paid for by the manufacturer. In fact, I haven’t seen many commercials about LifeCell yet. Not only that, but the research we found to back up their claims had nothing to do with LifeCell. The evidence we found was all from unbiased studies done on the individual ingredients in LifeCell.

You ask, “What’s so special about LifeCell”? It’s all about ingredients! A company can and will lie when it comes to making money, but if you educate yourself about the ingredients they can’t lie to you any more. That’s exactly what we did. We learned what the effective ingredients mean, what studies were done on them and what the results were. That way no one can blow smoke….

Oh! Did I mention LifeCell is all natural and free of parabens?

What are these ingredients that are so special?

Ubiquinone – One of the most powerful of all the anti-oxidants available. Ubiquinone occurs naturally in our bodies, but as we age, our bodies produce less and less. Ubiquinone is also essential for all the other antioxidants to work proficiently. There is no shortage of science backing up the efficacy of ubiquinone.

Deanol - This so called “facelift-in-a-jar” helps tighten sagging muscles in the face. Deanol is a major reason why LifeCell works so well.

D3pa – Here’s another super-powerful wrinkle fighter plus it gets rid of dark circles. D3pa turns into nitric oxide and dilates your capillaries. Nitric oxide makes your capillaries very soft and supple and this increases circulation to all your upper layer skin cells. Not many wrinkle creams have this, but d3pa makes a huge difference.

Ascorbyl Palmitate – Ascorbyl palmitate is the buffered form of Vitamin C. It’s also a top tier antioxidant and very important in the fight against aging. Most wrinkle creams use the cheap version of Vitamin C which is ascorbic acid. Ascorbic acid is commonly known to be a skin irritant for some people and is rendered useless when exposed to the air. LifeCell goes the extra mile and uses ascorbyl palmitate, because it doesn’t cause skin irritation and stays effective and stable.

Argireline – This is a peptide formula that is known to have a Botox effect. Similar to Botox it relaxes muscles that are contracting and causing wrinkles. Many products focus on these relaxant peptides, but you have to be careful not to lose the wrinkles only to gain a sagging face. LifeCell uses just the right amount of this, so you don’t have to worry about sagging or having synergistic effects with Deanol.

How Long Will It Take LifeCell To Do It’s Magic?

LifeCell has silicon dioxide crystals in it that refract light and that helps give a little help to the APPEARANCE of wrinkles right away. These effects only go so far and can be seen best in well lit areas.  If there’s not much light, these crystals won’t have anything to refract. However, these tiny crystals give you a little help until the ingredients mentioned above have time to work.

A realistic time frame for LifeCell to show some serious results is 3 to 6 months. After 3 to 6 months you should definitely have fantastic results. Your skin will continue to improve with prolonged use. Many people say they are still seeing improvements after using it a year or two.

But, This Other Cream Says I Can Get Instant Results

Promises, Promises!!! These other companies are lying through their teeth just to sell you their product. There is no product that you can put on tonight and wake up a beauty queen tomorrow. With any anti-wrinkle cream, you should give it six months to a year before judging it’s effectiveness. Believe it or not we’ve had people write us, because they used LifeCell for three or four days and they still had wrinkles. Just give it a little time to work. Look, they have a 120 day money back guarantee. That gives you 4 months to see if it works! You can’t beat that anywhere.

Bottom Line

At this point, no other anti-aging/wrinkle product beats LifeCell. It’s the one I use on my own face! If there were a better product, I’d be using it.

LifeCell comes with a 120 day money back guarantee and they let you try it first for 30 days. You have to pay a small shipping fee, but after that you have 30 days from the day they ship it to decide if you like it. If you don’t like it, there is a returns link at the bottom of their site with all the information to send it back and avoid being charged. If you like it, and I know you will, just do nothing and they will charge your card $189 and every 60 days thereafter they will send you a fresh 60 day supply and these only cost $149. So what are you waiting for??? You deserve it! Treat your face like royalty and try LifeCell right now!

Prototype #37-C Review

Prototype #37-C has got the market cornered on peptides! There is no other product that has this many peptides on the market…at least I haven’t found one. Are peptides really any good though? You better believe they are and they have some serious science backing them up. However, there are many studies from proprietary formulas that I don’t trust.

Argireline, SYN®-COLL, Matrixyl, Matrixyl 3000 and Eyeseryl are all proprietary formulas that have their own claims and research, but I just don’t trust research done by manufacturers. However, in the science community, there is a ton of “REAL” evidence backing up the efficacy of peptides. So, I take all these proprietary formulas serious, because they work.

Will Prototype 37-C Get The Results You Want?

That’s a good question! You could try it…but if it doesn’t work as well as you planned, don’t blame me. The problem is that focusing all your energy on peptides is not a good idea if you want to create the top anti-wrinkle cream.

Hyaluronic acid is the only active ingredient in Prototype 37-C that  is not a peptide. Hyaluronic acid is a great ingredient to have in any anti-aging product, but it can’t make up the difference for not having some very important ingredients.

What’s Missing In Prototype #37-C ?

Prototype #37-C is in dire need of antioxidants. You can’t have an effective solution to aging without the use of antioxidants.

Here are a list of ingredients I would put in this product if I wanted to dominate the anti-wrinkle market:

Ascorbyl Palmitate – This is basically Vitamin C Esters which is the buffered form of Vitamin C. This is a must have in any anti-wrinkle ingredient list.

Ubiquinone - Noted for being one of the most powerful antioxidants available. Ubiquinone helps all the other antioxidants perform better. Another name for ubiquinone is Idebenone. I’m very particular about certain ingredients and Ubiquinone is one of them. If a product has coq10 instead of ubiquinone that’s okay, because they are very similar. However, if a product has neither Ubiquinone nor coq10 I usually don’t recommend it.

Deanol – Otherwise known as “facelift-in-a-jar”or DMAE. This ingredient firms up the muscles in the face to give you that fresh, lifted look everyone wants.

D3pa - Not many anti wrinkle creams have this ingredient, but it is very powerful in getting rid of dark circles and wrinkles. I’ll spare you the scientific details, but d3pa turns into nitric oxide and causes your capillaries to dilate and this increases blood flow. Any time you increase circulation like this, you enable your body to repair itself.

Bottom Line

I’m not going to tell you Prototype #37-C is bad, because it’s not. It could be used in conjunction with a product that has a total focus on antioxidants. However, if you want a product that has almost all of these highly important ingredients already, I would recommend LifeCell, because it’s already optimized for the best possible results you can get with an anti-wrinkle cream.

Does Faitoz-25 Measure Up?

Faitoz-25 seems to be quite a bit better than your average run-of-the-mill wrinkle cream. It has some really good ingredients in it, but there are a few missing in my opinion.

Faitoz-25 Ingredients Breakdown

Hyaluronic acid – This is a really good moisturizer that naturally occurs in our bodies. As we age our bodies produce less, so we need to supplement this ingredient. Tons of independent research has been done on HA and it has been proven to be a great anti-aging aid both in topical application and as an oral supplement.

Argireline – This is a peptide that works to relax the muscles in the face and in my opinion this should be used sparingly. We don’t want our face to relax too much, because it would sag. Faitoz-25 boasts it has 25% Argireline. I would agree that you need a little of this, but 25%???

Matrixyl 3000 -  This is another peptide formula that has been proven to help with aging. There are claims made about the effectiveness of this ingredient that I tend to take with a grain of salt. Their research was done on their own and I don’t trust it. However, there has been much research done in the area of peptides and they are very effective against wrinkles.

Snap-8 – This appears to be yet another relaxant. I don’t think with all these relaxants your face would drop to your knees, but I think too much relaxing is not a good thing.

Vitamin C Ester – Now here’s a superstar ingredient and I commend them for having it. It’s a top tier antioxidant and you should be taking it orally, as well as on your skin.

Vitamin E - Here’s another anti-oxidant and it may not be as helpful as Vitamin C, but it does help quite a bit.

What’s Missing In Faitoz-25

The first thing I would add to Faitoz-25 is Ubiquinone. It’s one of the most powerful antioxidants available and it helps all the other antioxidants work better. Ubiquinone is also known as Idebenone and is close in molecular structure to coq10. I could write a whole page on this ingredient alone. If I product doesn’t have ubiquinone, Idebenone or coq10 listed in the ingredients, I would pass on it.

Deanol is seriously needed in this formula as well. It works by tightening the face muscles to give a facelift effect. In fact it’s known as the “facelift in a jar.”

D3pa is another much needed ingredient. It’s too deep to go into about how it works, but ends up becoming nitric oxide which dilates your capillaries thus increases bloodflow. It’s a major ingredient and yet it’s not in here.

Bottom Line

Faitoz-25 is not bad, but it lacks some very important ingredients to make it a top tier anti-wrinkle fighter like LifeCell or Revitol. I tell people if they can afford LifeCell to go for it and, if not, use Revitol. You can get 6 months worth of Revitol for around $200.

My Opinion of Dermajuv

Dermajuv is quite a unique product. It has several of the good peptide formulas along with some other great ingredients like Argireline and hyaluronic acid. They claim to be paraben free which is great, especially if you are a health nut. There are a few other ingredients like Matrixyl that seem to be standard in most wrinkle creams. Matrixyl is a proprietary formula that has some potent peptides in it.

Dermajuv uses Haloxyl which is mostly for dark circles. I’m not convinced that everyone needs this unless they have dark circles.

What The Heck Are Telomeres

The thing that strikes me most about this product is that they claim to have an ingredient that extends the length of telomeres. What are telomeres you ask? They are the end of a strand of DNA and scientists have recently discovered that as we age the telomeres become shorter. Once the telomeres become short enough, we die. Scientists can actually look at your telomeres and tell exactly when your life will expire naturally. If science finds a way to extend telomeres, we could possibly achieve near immortality.

I haven’t seen any evidence to suggest that Dermajuv really has a solution to lengthening telomeres, because the scientific community doesn’t have an answer for lengthening telomeres yet. Maybe they figured it out or maybe it’s just expert marketing on the part of Dermajuv…I don’t really know.

What’s Missing In Dermajuv?

The biggest thing that we are missing here with regard to ingredients is antioxidants. If you have read what I have written about ingredients, you will know that antioxidants are one of the most scientifically proven wrinkle fighters out there. I’m not saying this product is not good…I’m just saying it’s in serious need of some powerful antioxidants like ubiquinone which is sometimes called Idebenone. Also you can’t forget ascorbyl palmitate which is basically buffered Vitamin C, but is a super strong age fighter.

Vitamins A and E are also great antioxidants. Vitamin A could be one of the best wrinkle fighters, but some people have a reaction to it. Vitamin E can be really good too.

Then there’s Deanol which tightens the muscles under the skin to create a facelift effect. Many wrinkle creams leave this one out, but there is some serious evidence backing up it’s effectiveness.

Bottom Line

I would say overall Dermajuv is definitely worth a try…just in case they really have the telomeres thing worked out. It seems to be a pretty good cream, but is seriously lacking in the antioxidant area.

My honest opinion is still that LifeCell is the top product and Revitol is a close second especially if you are on a budget. See our top 3 anti-wrinkle picks for 2010.

Hydroxitone Risk Free Trial

How can you be sure about these anti-aging products you see advertised on TV like the Hydroxitone Risk Free Trial ? Keep reading as we give you the details about Hydroxitone. There are many products on the market which claim to rejuvenate your skin, diminish the appearance of wrinkles and dark circles, and give you a youthful look. One such product is Hydroxitone.

Top 3 Anti Aging Products

Hydroxatone has a four step skin care system, but the risk free trial offer is for the AM/PM Rejuvenating Treatment. Each component can be used on its own, but, it is recommended that all four products be used for the maximum effect. A cleanser with dermabrasion qualities is the first step. This claims to gently exfoliate the skin and promote hydration.

NOTE: Please be aware that the Hydroxatone risk free trial offer puts you on an autoshipment plan. This means that they will send a new shipment every month and charge your card for it. As you can see in the comments section below people sign up for free products and fail to read the part about autoshipments, but it’s there. Hydroxatone is a good product, but we feel it is important to let you know this ahead of time. The other 2 products we recommend either don’t have an autoshipment plan or they give you a choice. Make sure you check out our Top 3 Products page to read about the other 2 products LifeCell & Revitol.

Next is the Milky cleanser, which will gently deep clean your skin and neck area. The third step is Luminyze Skin Brightener, a cream which claims to lighten age spots, freckles, and other discolorations on the fact.

The fourth and final step is the Balancing Toner, a moisturizing cream, which hydrates the skin, and promotes the production of collagen. This cream is left on the face to air dry, and can be used several times throughout the day.

The primary active ingredients in this system are Matrixyl 3000, Argareline, and Hyaluronic Acid, all of which are well known anti-aging compounds. Using the entire system, you are sure to see a reduction in the appearance of lines, wrinkles, dark circles, and age spots. However, after careful research we have come to the conclusion that there are other products that have way more wrinkle stopping power than the Hydroxitone Risk Free Trial.

Why are these other products more effective at reducing the signs of aging? It’s all about the ingredients. This link will give you a quick rundown of the top anti-aging ingredients and the top products for 2009 and beyond.

Some Facts About Alphaderma-CE

Many people are looking to restore their skin to a youthful condition and this is why products like Alphaderma CE exist.

This product is know as a face lift in a jar. It is supported by the many beneficial compounds found in the skin rejuvinator such as Argireline, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Vitamin C Ester, DMAE, Elastin, Collagen, Soy, Aloe Vera, Glycerin, and essential trace minerals that are important to having healthy skin.

These are proven ingredients that have shown over years of clinical research to help repair damaged skin and remove certain fine facial lines and wrinkles.

Some people have a problem with the source of the collagen used in this product which is usually derived from a chicken or a cow and thus unregulated by the FDA.

Other debate the emphasis of collagen altogether, considering it a needless ingredient in any facial creme.

The reality is that these claims over collagen are subjective and not based on any hard data, so the choice will rest entirely upon you. The best advice is to try out the product to see if it works for you. The cost of this product is $129 and there is a money back guarantee, so that if you do not like the results you get, you have lost nothing.

An Honest Look At Avotone

In a world full of naturally minded products comes an all natural facial cream aimed at reducing wrinkles created by facial expressions.

This product proudly touts an ingredient list that, while being quite small, contains no additives or unnatural fillers of any kind.

Avotone contains such natural ingredients as Hexapeptide-3, also known as Argireline and Avocado Oil. Argireline is a natural wrinkle reducer and is also known as the natural equivalent to Botox. Avocado oil has long been used as a powerful moisturizer.

From a practical standpoint, there is very little data to bear out the claims of this natural approach to skin restoration. Virtually no studies have been done to support the claims of avocado oil and Argireline, so all that you have to go on is popular sentiment.

This product is only recommended for under eyes and not the entire face, so this is not a full face treatment product. While there is no real solid answers to the positive or negative of this product, the best thing to do is give it a try and see if works for you. There is a 90 day money back guarantee for your protection if the product fails to preform in the way you want it to.

A Brief Overview Of Bellaplex

When wrinkle reduction and prevention is an issue, there are many products you can chose to use. One such product is Bellaplex.

This skin treatment has many different ingredients, however, there are four active and main ingredients in this cream. These ingredients are Matrixyl 3000, Hyaluronic acid, Argireline, and lastly fresh collagen. These make up the basis of this particular skin treatment.

The first, Matrixyl 3000 is a wrinkle fighting antioxidant. While there is limited research of this ingredient, it has shown promise in fighting wrinkles.

The second ingredient is Hyaluronic acid. This is an excellent skin moisturizer. When skin is damaged and dry, it means that there is a lack of Hyaluronic acid. By replenishing this acid, the skin can properly moisturize again.

The third ingredient is Argireline. This is often called natures Botox. Unlike botox, this ingredient will often take time to work and since there is limited research on long term effects, it would be wise to avoid products with high concentrations of this ingredient.

Last is fresh collagen. While collagen works well as an injectable substance, as a topical application it simply cannot absorb into the skin properly and can often lead to skin build up.

However, with all that, reviews of Bellaplex have been somewhat positive that this product can do what is says it can. Although your own results will ultimately determine that for you.

The Truth About Caracol Cream

When it comes to skin treatments, there are certainly some very interesting approaches and none are as interesting as Caracol Cream.

This particular treatment boasts the benefits of Chilean snail excretions as its main skin rejuvenating ingredient. This is due to snail farmers who directly handled snails noticing that their hands where softer and small wounds would heal faster than ever before. This was largely credited to the snail excretions or snail slime as it were.

In reality, Caracol Cream only has two active ingredients, Caracol Cream and snail slime. As far as the first ingredient goes, there is a lot that makes up this particular cream. The first major player is Matrixyl 3000. This peptide is a very effective substance that has shown great promise in fighting and preventing wrinkles. The last two are the antioxidants Alpha lipoic acid and Coenzyme Q10. The snail slime is the other active ingredient in this product.

Unfortunately, there are really no studies on snail secretions as a good skin rejuvenator. It does have very positive qualities as a skin antiseptic and there are some studies that show possible snail allergies, but very little is know about its wrinkle fighting qualities.  This means that you will have to decide for yourself if this is a product that you would like to try.

The Important Facts About Ceramide-C

Choosing the right skin care cream is very important for your skin. Each product on the market has their own unique spin on their product and it is up to you to decide what works and what doesn’t.

Ceramide-C, for example, is a product that claims to leave your skin looking more radiant while it reduces the look of small lines and wrinkles on your face.

Rozge, which is the manufacturer of this product, claims that since the skin naturally loses Cermaide as it ages, their product replenishes it allowing you to look younger and healthier.

The cost of this product is $49.50 for 60 caplets. However, you are able to purchase a sample packet of three caplets for $1.50, so that you can see for yourself how this product will react to your skin. They also provide a 100-day money back guarantee.

The ingredients in Ceramide-C are all natural and there is plenty of vitamin E and C, which are both important elements for skin care. There are a few other natural ingredients such as cucumber extract and primrose oil which are natural moisturizers. The main ingredient, however is Cermide-C, and while the benefits of this has not been proven, research has shown that it may have positive effects on the skin.
